Popsicle Cups

Paper cups make the perfect mold to create homemade popsicles.

Supplies Needed:

  • Small paper cups
  • Popsicle sticks (Available at craft supply or discount stores.
  • Fruit juice or punch in desired flavor

Making Popsicle Cups is as easy as one, two, three. First, line up the paper cups on a cookie sheet or tray that will easily fit into the freezer. Second, pour the fruit juice or punch into the cups; fill each cup about 3/4 of the way full, and insert a popsicle stick into each one. Third, place the juice-filled cups into the freezer until set and ready to serve. Note: Check on the popsicles frequently during the first couple of hours. Once the popsicles are "slushy," re-position the popsicle sticks so they stand up straight.

When ready to serve, gently slide the popsicle out of the cup, using the stick. If stuck, run the bottom of the paper cup under hot water for about a minute or simply just peel the paper away.
